Starburst is recognized as a leading global accelerator for startups in the aerospace, aviation, and defense sectors. With offices in the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Israel, Singapore, and Korea, the company has gained a reputation for its sharp investment acumen, having supported around 150 startups in these industries since its establishment in 2012, with very few failures.
While South Korea’s defense exports have surged recently, earning the term “K-Defense,” it still lags behind Japan in the aerospace field. However, Starburst chose Korea over Japan for its Asian office, raising curiosity about the reasons behind this decision.
