This initiative created a sort of “hacking sandbox.” In August, an Italian hacker team outperformed five international cybersecurity research teams to win the competition.

These industries heavily rely on information networks, including satellite communication systems, ground station control infrastructures, and navigation systems, making them highly vulnerable to cyberattacks.
