CONTEC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") collects and uses personal information provided during registration for the for purposes such as sending invitations, managing event safety, and ensuring smooth post-event operations.

 

□ Collection and Use of Personal Information for Exhibition Booth and Sponsorship Users have the right to refuse consent for the collection and use of their personal information. However, refusal may result in limitations on participation.

The Company will use your personal information solely for the purposes specified and will protect and manage it in strict accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This consent form is provided to clearly inform you about how your personal information will be used. Please review the details carefully and indicate your consent accordingly by signing the Sponsorship Contract.

Sponsorship Registration Terms

CONTEC Co.,  Ltd, (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) utilizes the personal information collected during registration for purposes such as sending event invitations, ensuring safety management, and facilitating smooth operations before, during, and after the conference. 
Additionally, you may receive event-related information and marketing materials, including ISS newsletters, post-event announcements, feedback requests, and promotional videos via email, text messages or KakaoTalk.

1.   Agreement: by signing the Contract for Sponsorship, Sponsor agrees to abide by these Rules and Regulations and all amendments thereto and the decision of the Host Organization. For purposes of this Agreement, (i) the term “Event” shall mean the conference, trade show, in person promotion or online event outlined in the first page of this document, (ii) the term  “Organizer” shall mean CONTEC  Co., Ltd and its respective agents, (iii) the term “Event” shall mean the venue hosting the Event, online platform hosting a digital version or any other conference hall designated by the Organizer in the future, (iv) the term “Sponsor” shall mean the company that has submitted this Contract, and (v) the term “Rules” shall mean these Rules and Regulations.

2.   Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This sponsorship contract, the rights and obligations of the parties to this agreement shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any legal proceedings arising out of the present contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Daejeon District Court in the Republic of Korea. For international disputes, parties may first attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation before resorting to litigation.

3.   Obligations of the Organizer: The Organizer provides the Sponsor on the terms specified in the General Terms and Conditions (i) Sponsorship category, level and branding are chosen by the Sponsor under the conditions specified in the Sponsorship brochure (ii) advertising and marketing services as referred in the Sponsorship brochure.

4.   Conclusion of the Agreement: The Agreement is concluded upon both parties signing a written copy of this Sponsorship Contract. Electronic signatures shall have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.

5.   Payment Terms and Conditions

5-1 The Organizer under the Sponsorship Booking form Agreement shall be entitled to remuneration in the amount specified in the current Agreement for the sponsorship selected by the Sponsor

 

5-2. The Organizer shall send an invoice to the Sponsor’s email address provided in the booking form, whereas after the payment is completed, the Organizer shall issue and send invoice to the email address provided during registration.

 

5-3. Payment should be received no later than fifteen (15) days following the receipt of the Organizer’s invoice.

 

5-4. The Organizer will provide sponsorship services to the Sponsor under the condition that full payment of the sponsorship price has been received before the first day of the event.

6.   Cancellation Policy: If for any reason beyond the Organizer’s control (e.g., fire, casualty, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, accident, blockage, embargo, inclement weather, governmental restraints, act of public enemy, riot or civil inability to secure sufficient labor, technical or other personnel, municipal, state or federal laws, or act of God), the Event, or any part thereof, is prevented from being held, interrupted or the facility become unavailable, unfit for occupancy, or substantially interfered with, Organizer may postpone as described in section 7 or cancel the Event. If a cancellation occurs of such event (not a Postponement), Organizer shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs, or other unfavorable conditions arising by virtue thereof, and Sponsor waives claims for damage arising there from. If a cancellation occurs due to reasons attributable to the Organizer (not including force majeure events as described above), the Organizer shall refund to Sponsor the full amount of sponsorship fees paid. If a cancellation occurs due to force majeure events, the Organizer shall refund to Sponsor a prorated amount of the sponsorship fee based on the remaining time until the scheduled event date, after deducting reasonable and documented expenses already incurred specifically for the Sponsor’s participation.

7.   Postponement of Event: If for any reason the location (in person or online) or dates of the Event should be changed, no refund will be due to Sponsor. Organizer will re-assign booth space to Sponsor, and Sponsor agrees to use exhibit booth space under the terms of this contract (if applicable). If the event is moved exclusively online, Sponsor has the option to apply value of the Contract to a future year live event or other digital engagement opportunity offered by the Organizer with the same level of participation. The Organizer shall not be financially liable or otherwise obligated in the event that the Event is relocated, postponed, or executed in a virtual environment online.

8.   Cancellation by Sponsor: Sponsor specifically recognizes and acknowledges that Organizer will sustain certain losses if Sponsor cancels its sponsorship (or booth space) after it has been confirmed by the Organizer. Due to the difficulty, if not impossibility of determining and proving said losses, Sponsor agrees to pay cancellation fees specified as follows:

- Before March 31st 2025: Refund of 100% of Total Amount

- Between March 31st 2025 ~ April 30th, 2025: Refund of 50% of Total Amount

- After April 30th, 2025 :  No Refund

9.   Program Changes

The Organizer is entitled to make modifications to the program, speakers and/or session dates without prior notice. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered from the modification of the Event Program arising from any cause whatsoever.

10.  Liability: The Organizer will provide assistance where possible to ensure sponsors, speakers and delegates can participate in the Event and have their relevant marketing communications material uploaded onto the event platform ahead of the event. To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, the Organizer excludes: (i) all liability for loss, or damage to persons or property at the Event; (ii) all indemnities, warranties, representations, terms and conditions (whether express or implied); and (iii) any actual or alleged indirect loss or consequential loss howsoever arising suffered by the Delegate or the Sponsor, or any loss of profits, anticipated profits, savings, loss of business revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or any other type of economic loss (whether direct or indirect).

11.  Data Protection: The information provided by the Sponsor and its employees will be recorded on the Organizer’s databases. It will be used for event marketing, administration and to give the Sponsor’s and its delegates access to Event’s online platforms. The Organizer may also share this information with its subsidiaries to contact delegates about other products and services which may be of interest. Personal information (name, company, job title, country, to the exclusion of contact information) may be shared with other delegates and sponsors.

The Sponsor hereby grants the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely in connection with the development, production, marketing, promotion, and hosting of the Event and the archiving thereof to use, reproduce, digitize, publish, display, exhibit, distribute and otherwise broadcast (itself or on its behalf) the Sponsor’s and representatives’ name and content in relation to (and before, during and after ) the Event. In addition, the Sponsor acknowledges that the Organizer and/or its representatives and/or any delegate and/or attendee at the event may use photographs and/or video footage of all or part of the conference.

The Organizer may then include any of these photographs and/or video footage on any of its online platforms and/or other promotional materials or platforms, or in commercialized products, at its discretion. The Sponsor shall notify the Organizer if it does not want its image to feature in any promotional material created by the Organizer. Notification shall be made in writing using the following email official@iss2025.com. The Company will process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. International participants have the right to access, rectify, and erase their personal data in accordance with applicable laws.

12.  Assignment of booths (if applicable): The Organizer will assign a space in accordance with the level of sponsorship and receipt of applicable booth fees. After assignment, space location may not be changed, transferred, or canceled by Sponsor except upon written request and with the subsequent written approval of the Organizer. Notwithstanding the above, the Organizer reserves the right to change location assignments at any time, as it may, in its sole discretion, deem necessary.  Such changes will made at the sole discretion of the Organizer and the Sponsor may not claim compensation for the result of any changes.

13.  Booth Representatives (if applicable): Booth representation is limited to Sponsor. Sponsor shall not permit in its booth a non-exhibiting company representative. Sponsor shall staff its booth during all open show hours. Booth Representatives shall at all times wear or be able to show badge identification approved by Organizer. Organizer may limit the number of booth personnel at any time.

14.  Use of Booth Space (if applicable): a) Restrictions on Space Rental: without the express written permission of Organizer, Sponsor may not (i) sublet, subdivide or assign its space, or any part thereof (ii) purchase multiple booths for the purpose of subletting or assigning to third parties, or (iii) permit in its booth any non-exhibiting company representative. No signs or advertising devices shall be displayed outside the exhibit space other than those furnished by Organizer, Failure to comply with this provision may be sufficient cause for Organizer to require the immediate removal of the exhibit and/or the offending Sponsor, at the expense of Sponsor. Failure to comply may also result in forfeiture of all fees paid.

15.  Booth Safety Measures (if applicable): Sponsor must set-up and remove exhibits within the notified time frame. In the event that Sponsor fail to respect the deadlines, the participants are subject to pay compensation for any delays and/or damages to the Organizer. Participants must not violate the rules of the Event location during the period of installation or removal of booth structures and/or exhibits. If there is evidence supporting serious violation of rules, the Organizer has the authority to remove the booth or other structures of the relevant participants for the smooth operation of the Event, and any costs and expenses shall be  borne by the applicable Sponsor.

16.  Management of Event Hall (if applicable): In the event that participants exhibit any items different from the exhibits specified in advance or any items that are not appropriate to the nature of the Exhibition or attempt to sell any times directly to visitors without approval of the Organizer, the Organizer may order immediate suspension or removal of the items. Also, using a microphone or loudspeaker inside the Hall is not allowed in the booth unless agreed by the Organizer. In such cases, the fee shall not be refunded.

17. Others: When necessary, the Organizer may issue supplementary regulations in addition the above terms and conditions, and those regulations must be respected by all parties.

(hereinafter referred to as the "Company") collects and uses personal information provided during registration for the for purposes such as sending event invitations, ensuring safety, and managing post-event operations to ensure the smooth execution of the conference Additionally, you may receive event-related information and marketing content, including ISS newsletters, post-event announcements, feedback collection, and promotional video materials, via email, text messages, or KakaoTalk (Korean Mobile Messaging Application).
